As a sugar baby, you are selling yourself and your image. The better you are and the better you look, the more successful you will be. Here’s a list of things you should be putting your allowances towards to increase your value as a sugar baby.
- HAIR: Great looking hair makes you look rich. Some of you probably have great hair naturally, but as a SB, boxed dye and a Super Cuts style aren’t going to cut it. Find a nice salon, pick the best stylist, make an appointment, and walk in with an empty schedule and a full wallet. Get the works. I get my hair professionally cut, colored, and I get regular keratin treatments. Find a blowout bar near you and get your hair blown out before dates, it’s about $40. Seriously, if nothing else, get your hair right, it can seriously upgrade your entire appearance.
- SKIN: Great skin, unlike great hair, doesn’t have to be expensive. DIY skin care can be awesome and effective, and some girls use only the cheapest, blandest, drugstore skin care (i.e. Cerave, Cetaphil, etc.) and have GORGEOUS skin. But find what works for you. Use expensive products if you need to. Get facials. Get lasers. Go to the dermatologist. Basically, spend what you need to to get great skin, because it will pay off.
- NAILS: Manicures. Get them. DIY or go to a salon, just do it. Buy some cuticle oil, hand lotion, and a travel manicure kit. Buy several. Keep them in every bag you own. Use as necessary to keep your hands looking nice.
- WAXING: Get. Your. Eyebrows. DONE. By someone great. I will probably follow my brow lady to the ends of the earth, she is so wonderful. Do maintenance with tweezers to keep the looking nice between appointments. Additionally, get your pussy waxed. Men like it. We’re in the business of pleasing men, like it or not. On that note, legs should be shaved as well.
- BODY: Join a gym, get a trainer, take up yoga, whatever. Eat lots of great, fresh food. Even if weight loss isn’t you goal, an active and healthy lifestyle is attractive.
- MIND: Read. Read a lot. Read books, read magazines, read the paper, as much as you can. Bonus points for reading sections that would interest a SD (business, politics, arts, etc.). If you’re in college, study hard. If you aren’t try taking some online courses, or maybe one at your local community college. Learn about business and law and politics. Learn about art, music, and theatre. Take classes in singing or acting or public speaking or wine tasting. You’ll be bettering yourself and your mind, as well as improving your conversation skills with SDs. These men are smart and powerful and they want a woman who can keep up.
- CLOTHING: It may be tempting to go out and buy whatever you want with your allowance, but place an emphasis on finding things you can wear out on dates first. Maybe they aren’t exactly to your taste, but, like I said, we’re in the business of pleasing men. Find something that makes you look sexy and expensive. You may be able to get away with wearing Forever 21 on the first few dates, but you’re going to expensive and high class places, and you should look like you belong there.
- MAKEUP: At the very least you should buy: foundation, primer, setting powder, blush, a highlighting and a contouring powder, concealer, black gel liner, mascara, a neutral eyeshadow palette, a brow pencil, a nude lipliner, and a nude-pink lipstick. AT THE VERY LEAST. It should go without saying I’m talking about Sephora and Department store brands. Buy nice brushes. Sigma makes a great brush kit with just about any brush you would need. If you know nothing about makeup, watch youtube videos, or get a lesson. Most makeup artists offer lessons where they show you how to best apply makeup. Master at least one look that makes you look gorgeous that you can wear anywhere.
To SB’s just starting out, Don’t Fear The Splenda. Get that money, put it back into yourself. Maybe you can’t bag that high allowance now, but if you put a little work in you could. Invest in yourself and good things will come.
